Still looking for that meaningful summer job? Work this summer with New Haven High School students in this exciting on campus program! What: The Yale summer SCHOLAR program brings 50-60 students from Hill Regional Career High School (Career HS) to live and study science for three weeks on Yale's campus. SCHOLAR provides an intensive, hands-on science curriculum in an exploratory and interactive teaching environment that emphasizes discovery, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Yale University faculty design the curriculum with the support of teachers and advisors from Career HS, Yale graduate and professional schools, and SCHOLAR faculty. Yale students serve a vital role as teaching assistants and mentors. When: July 1-23, 2010 If selected, you will receive free room and board plus a $1500 stipend.
