Songs for Our Future, a musical benefit, sponsored by Sing for Hope in partnership with Yale University taking place on Friday, May 7, 2010, will begin with a cocktail reception at 45 Walker Street from 6:30-7:30pm, followed by a cabaret concert by Sing for Hope Donor Artists at the Clear Channels P.C. Richard & Sons Theater (32 Avenue of the Americas) at 8:00pm.

Songs for Our Future will be hosted by internationally acclaimed actor Richard Kind, and will feature Sing for Hope Donor Artists Mike Errico (VH1, Puccini for Beginners), Ali Ewoldt (Revival of Les Misérables, International Tour of West Side Story), Tony Award nominee Malcolm Gets (Story of My Life; A New Brain), Christopher Dylan Herbert Amy Justman (Company; White Christmas on Broadway), Nicole Lewis (Hair and Lennon on Broadway), Tony Award winner Ted Sperling (South Pacific; A Light in the Piazza), Sam Tsui (YouTube sensation; The Oprah Winfrey Show), Lauren Worsham (Candide at City Opera; Spelling Bee), and their Yale alumni colleagues from the stages of Broadway.  This event will be directed by Andy Sandberg (Producer of Hair on Broadway), with musical direction by Andrew M. Byrne (Les Misérables, The Bridge Project, New York). Dick Cavett is on the event too, and he is performing a special magic trick!

All proceeds raised at Songs for Our Future will benefit Sing for Hopes Art U! Educational Outreach Program, which brings dynamic arts and leadership education to underserved youth in New York City and beyond.
