Please join a plethora of campus and community groups next Monday for a panel discussion on the disturbing pattern of wrongful convictions and racial injustice associated with the death penalty in America. California death row exoneree Shujaa Graham, who spent years in prison as an innocent man after being framed for murder, will headline the panel.


Other panelists will be Peter Tsimbidaros, a New Haven attorney who will discuss the shocking frequency of wrongful murder convictions in Connecticut, and State Representative Roland Lemar (D-New Haven), who will offer a legislator's perspective on abolishing our state's death penalty in 2011.
