The MCE is looking for experienced singers to join a dynamic musical organization celebrating its eighth season. The Manhattan Choral Ensemble (MCE) is an exciting, 40-voice, community-based choir dedicated to the passionate performance of an international and historically varied repertoire. We invite you to join the MCE at two open rehearsals on September 6 and 13, from 7:30pm to 9pm, at Church for All Nations, 417 West 57th Street. Auditions (by appointment) will be on August 30, September 6 and September 13, also at Church for All Nations. Auditions will take place between 6pm and 7:30pm, followed by the open rehearsal. Auditions will consist of sight-reading, vocal exercises and an optional prepared piece. Auditioners will be expected to have some sight-reading ability, and prior choral experience is preferred.
