The final concert of the acclaimed Yale at Carnegie series features the Philharmonia Orchestra of Yale, with conductor Shinik Hahm and pianist Boris Berman in an all-Prokofiev program. The performance coincides with the establishment of the Prokofiev Society of America, affiliated with the Yale School of Music, as well as the publication of Berman's newest book, Prokofiev's Piano Sonatas, by Yale University Press. The Philharmonia, composed of Yales gifted graduate students trained at the most renowned conservatories, will tour Asia this July, performing in Seoul, Shanghai, and Beijing.
