Hello fellow Yalies,
2009 is in full swing, and we here at YAAMNY are off to a fantastic start!! January was flush with activity, and we are just beginning to scratch the surface of all of the things that we have in store for you. Here are some of the things that have happened thus far:
- The Public Service/Social Justice Committee sponsored a service project at St. Xaviers Soup Kitchen on MLK Day. Thanks to all who participated!
- We co-hosted the IvyPlus New Years celebration with fellow alums from Brown, MIT, Columbia and Cornell on January 27th. More than 400 alums came out to make this event a success!
- We hosted focus groups on the current and future state of YAAMNY in Manhattan and Brooklyn. A big thanks to board members

I am a rising senior at Yale University and am working for a non-profit public interest law firm from mid may to the beginning of August . Looking for one room or suite. Non-smoking, animal friendly, & charming.
|
I'm an 08 grad of JE college just starting work as a Literary agent in midtown. I'm looking for a room or a studio on either the east or west side but no farther uptown than 90th street. The east or west village or anywhere in midtown would also be fantastic.
My interests are literature, philosophy, history and writing generic paragraphs about myself for housing applications. I'm an American citizen but was raised in London and so have an accent like those delightful redcoats you all remember so well. I need a place as soon as possible as I can only impose on family friends for a finite period of time.
