Upcoming events and YAAMNY Facebook Group!

Spring is almost here, and we have a lot to look forward to this month, including a community service event this Saturday, March 7, organized by Rana Emerson '93 and the Public Service Committee, and a joint event with the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute organized by the Educational Programs Committee. Also, in response to alumni feedback about interest in more events that bring together alumni with similar backgrounds and/or experiences, we are organizing the first in a series of happy hours focused on alumni from various decades, starting with one on March 24 for alumni from Yale College and the graduate/professional schools from the 90s. See below for details on each event, including how to sign up for them.

Also, we have reactived the YAAMNY Facebook group, so if you are not yet a member of that group, we encourage you to add it to your profile by linking to the following site:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=7283875910. This YAAMNY Facebook group is a great way to stay abreast of Yale alumni events in NYC and see who among your classmates and friends are going to those events.

Join the new YAAMNY Social Activities Committee!

The YAAMNY Social Activities Committee is tasked with conceptualizing and planning a variety of regular events for Yale alumni. We want to appeal to all class ranges, and encourage greater participation and mingling among alumni in the metropolitan area. Past activities have included mixers with alumni from other universities, as well as Yale only cocktail hours. If you have ideas and want input, this could be a great way to get involved!
