• To get a new password click Login at the very top of the site.

• When you are logged in you will be able to edit all the posts you have created.

• Let your users know about the new edits to your site, and more importantly encourage your users to contribute content to the site.
• Content for the e-blasts can be selected by choosing content posts on the site you want to include. 

• "Unique Opened" and "Open Rate" under represent the number of unique recipients because they count only successful pings to our servers.  Blackberries, text only readers and all mail readers where the user does not select "download pictures" are not counted.

• Total opened includes every time the email is opened and read.  Our experience is the actual  number of  readers is somewhere between "Unique" and "Total" and the actual open rate is at least 50% higher than the reported "Open Rate".

If you are already logged in insecurely with name/email authentication:

1. logout by pressing logout in the top left of the screen next to your name (or press login securely once this is implemented)
2. Press login in the top left once the page reloads
3. in the dialog that pops up enter you user name and password*
4. you will now be logged in securely and can change view and change all your personal profile information including change your email address for newsletters and for your login ID 

If you are not logged in at all, simply:

1. Press login in the top left of the page
2. in the dialog that pops up enter you user name and password*

*If you have not set a password, or need a new password, instructions to set or reset your password in are as follows:

Leadership and Governance

The key to sustaining your group is ensuring more than one person has ownership of the group.

Extending ownership involves reaching out to other collaborators and also documenting policies for the organization and management of the group. 

The combination of Leadership (time and effort expeded by individuals) and Governance (documents and policies to guide Leadership efforts) is the essential life force of an organization.  If assembled correctly this combination will give your organization a life of its own.

Putting together a Host Committee

If you want a lot of people to come it helps to have lots of people inviting people to  your event. 

There are two key elements to this:

• get a diverse group to act as hosts
• make sure everyone hosting has ownership over the event

Getting a Diverse Host Committee

It is ideal to collect hosts that are spread among the demographics of your constituency.  If you share Hosting duties with only your best friends, then you are less likely to reach into areas of your constituency where you may not already have as strong relationships.

You may also want to consider

• defining a mission for your event
• the diversity of your host committee (age, vocation, socioeconomic)
