Bulldogs Serve!

When:   April 16, 2010 1:00am
Where:   Dwight Hall

Hi Dwight Hall!

Bulldog Days is next week, which means this is our chance to let potential freshmen know how important service is at Yale! Many of our member groups have events planned, but please also attend our two events if you can:

1. Bulldog Days Community Sing with Falafel from Mamoun's! 11:00 - 1:00am. Dwight Hall Chapel. Come learn songs of social justice from around the world in multipart harmony while feasting upon delicious Middle Eastern food!

2. Meet Dwight Hall! 11:00pm. Dwight Hall. Dwight Hall is the home for community service and social justice at Yale. Come get acquainted with a variety of the 80+ Dwight Hall groups while you snack on delicious food! (Member groups without their own event are encouraged to attend as an opportunity to speak with freshmen!)

But most importantly, tell all the prefrosh you meet about your experiences with Dwight Hall!

In other news, I want to encourage sophomores to apply for FOCUS where you can "meet with local leaders and examine controversial issues in immigration, education, politics, race, economic development, town-gown relations, and more". See below for more information.

We have an exciting week ahead. Go forth bulldogs and serve!

Hope all is well,

Joe
