YLAA/YAAMNY: Explore "Nueva York" Exhibit at El Museo del Barrio w/Reception & After Party at The FB Lounge

Historical secrets, bodacious beverages, live Latin music and more.  This is not our parents' history lesson!  Register here for an exclusive guided exhibit of El Museo del Barrio's exhibit "Nueva York: 1613-1948" and start out the New Year in the best spirits with a celebration at New York's "latest Latino discovery," the FB Lounge.  The exhibit's deeply rich paintings and other historical artifacts unveil the roles of the Spanish-speaking people from the Caribbean, Central and South America in the vibrant history of the most vibrant city in the world.  Co-sponsored by the Yale Latino Alumni Association (YLAA) and YAAMNY.

 

Volunteer for Mulchfest 2011 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Connect with nature and other Yalies in beautiful Prospect Park! We are looking for 10-15 volunteers to assist Prospect Park staff in collecting and pre-processing discarded holiday trees and wreaths for chipping and mulching.  Hot chocolate will be made available as well as lunch at the famous Litchfield Villa.  More details here.
