The YAAMNY Arts & Entertainment Committee in collaboration with Insider Expeditions presents After Hours at Museum 52 with Yale School of Art Faculty Daphne Fitzpatrick.

Join Yale School of Art Faculty Daphne Fitzpatrick for an intimate after-hours discussion and aperitif at Museum 52, a critically acclaimed contemporary art gallery on the Lower East Side. Fitzpatrick's work centers on the changing urban environment, as seen from the wandering vantage point of a dandy. In large sculptures, photographs, video and installation, she fuses a morning-after feeling with a keen sense of craft. Ms. Fitzpatrick attended the School of Visual Arts and the Whitney Studio Program. She has had recent solo exhibitions at Bellwether, New York and La Galleria at La MaMa, New York. Her work has been exhibited widely at venues including The Center on Contemporary Art in Seattle and the Institute for Contemporary Art in Philadelphia. She has written for publications including Artforum, and she is the recipient of grants from Art Matters and the Jerome Foundation.

Enjoy the work on display, and a lively discussion of Ms. Fitzpatrick's methods andmotives. Early registration $15, or $20 after February 5. Space is limited, and we expect this exclusive, after-hours event to sell out. Register today at http://yaamny-fitzpatrick.eventbrite.com/.
