Originally this space in Brooklyn was a liquor store, then prohbition happened, leading to decades of bad clothing and rotten groceries, finally culminating with this bar built by a Yalie and THE END OF PROHBITION party. For New Year's Eve the dress code is circa 1933. (Think: Depression, Golden Age of Hollywood, Roosevelts, King Kong, Dick and Jane books, swing dancing). Festivities begin at 8, and there's no cover.
