    During his tenure as head coach, Kylie Stannard has never been shy about challenging his teams with a high-quality schedule. This fall, Stannard is raising the bar even higher. The Bulldogs are set to face five teams that played in last year?s NCAA Tournament, including defending national champion Maryland, eight that finished in the final RPI top 60 and two that won regular season league titles.

  • Yale Bests Oxford and Cambridge on Trip's 125th Anniversary

    Yale and Harvard took home their 14th straight victory against Oxford and Cambridge this Saturday at Wilberforce Road Track in Cambridge, winning 16 to four in the scored events.

  • Bulldogs Win Seven Events in Victory at HYOC Meet

    The Yale Men?s Track and Field Team, along with their Crimson compatriots, won the historic Harvard-Yale-Oxford-Cambridge meet today, completing their 2019 season in style. The Bulldogs won seven events: five individual track races, and both of the relays.

    The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association has announced its postseason honors, and several Bulldogs have been recognized.

  • Bulldogs Look Forward to 2019-20 With Gorman as Captain

    As the Yale women?s basketball team turns its attention to the 2019-20 season, the Bulldogs do so with a new leader. Junior forward Megan Gorman (Vero Beach, Fla.) has been elected captain and leads the team into its 47th varsity season.

  • CSCAA Honors Bulldogs As Scholar All-America Teams

    The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) has named the Yale University men's and women's swimming and diving teams to its Scholar All-America team for the spring 2019 semester. A record 480 institutions were named to the list, highlighted by Yale men's and women's GPAs of 3.54 and 3.63.

  • Beaulieu Joins Henry?s Staff

    Connor Beaulieu, who helped Texas?s women?s program to a pair of top-10 NCAA finishes as a volunteer assistant coach, has been named an assistant men?s and women?s swimming coach at Yale.

  • Spring Academic All-Ivy Announced

    The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2018-19 Academic All-Ivy honors in its spring sports, and 10 Bulldogs were selected. The 10 thrived in their sport and in the classroom, as starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each Ivy institution nominated five men and five women from its eligible student-athletes.

  • Iordache Named Diving Coach

    Lindsay Iordache, a seven-time All-America diver at Indiana, who has coached numerous national champions with the Marlins Diving Club, has been named Yale?s diving coach.

  • Oni Selected No. 58 In NBA Draft

    Miye Oni?s professional basketball career will likely begin with the Utah Jazz. Oni was selected by the Golden State Warriors in the second round of Thursday?s NBA Draft, but his rights were rumored to be traded to the Jazz. He was chosen 58th overall.

  • Gladstone Named EARC Coach of the Year

    The Eastern Association of Rowing Colleges (EARC) announced the recipients of the league?s postseason awards. Steve Gladstone and Yale?s Varsity Eight were named Heavyweight Coach and Crew of the Year for the second-straight year.

  • Final ?Get in the Game. Save a Life.? Results In; Yale Drive Leads Nation

    With the final numbers now in from across the country, Yale has officially led the nation in potential life-saving marrow donors added to the Be The Match RegistryŽ through the ?Get in the Game. Save a Life.? campaign. Yale?s total of new registrants at its drive, named in memory of women?s ice hockey player Mandi Schwartz ?10 (1988-2011), was 396. The second-best total was 331 from Michigan State. The ?Get in the Game. Save a Life.? campaign included more than 100 colleges and universities this year.

  • Harling Named Women?s Golf Coach

    Lauren Harling, who as associate head coach helped lead Indiana to the school?s first NCAA Championship appearance since 2007 this spring, has been named the head coach of women?s golf at Yale.

  • Yale Announces 2019 Schedule

    After an impressive 2018 season highlighted by 2018 captain Andrea Masterson?s individual Ivy League title and a third-place team finish at the NCAA Northeast Regionals, the Yale women?s cross country team has its sights set high for the fall of 2019.

    The Yale Men?s Track and Field Team today announced their schedule for the fast-approaching cross country season. In total, the Bulldogs will hope to compete at eight meets: they will need to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

    Marissa Pearson, who has served as an Employee Relations Support Specialist at Yale since 2017, has been named Assistant Athletic Director for Administration.

  • Bulldogs Bid Farewell to Four Seniors

    The collegiate careers of four members of the Yale men's golf team officially came to a close when the Bulldogs' season concluded at the NCAA Stanford Regional in mid-May. The quartet of seniors helped the Elis achieve seven total tournament victories as well as an Ivy League Championship since the start of the 2015?16 season and all walked across the stage to receive their degrees at Yale's 318th Commencement. 

  • Chau Selected for 2019 Pan American U20 Championships

    After an exceptional rookie season with the Yale women's track and field program, outstanding middle-distance runner Jocelyn Chau has been selected as one of just 47 athletes to represent Canada at the 2019 Pan American U20 Championships.

  • Sheehan ?97 Named Northeast Coach of the Year

    Yale men's golf coach Colin Sheehan '97 has been named Northeast Region Coach of the Year by the Golf Coaches Association of America for the fourth time in nine seasons.

  • Middough Finishes Memorable Year Playing Abroad

    Yale field hockey alum Carol Middough ?18 was at the team?s final scrimmage of the spring in April to cheer on the Bulldogs, and she was also on hand last August at one of the team?s preseason practices. In between those appearances, she added another chapter to her remarkable playing career. Middough spent 2018-19 playing in England for Clifton Robinsons, helping the team to a fifth-place finish in the Investec Women?s Hockey League Premier Division.

  • Dey Earns ABCA All-Region Honors Again

    Yale first baseman Griffin Dey (Pound Ridge, N.Y.) was named second team ABCA/Rawlings Northeast All-Region on Wednesday. This is the second straight year he has been named all-region by the ABCA.

  • Drake Named Men?s Tennis Head Coach

    Chris Drake, who served as head coach of the Dartmouth men's tennis team the last nine years, is Yale?s new Cary Leeds Coach of Men?s Tennis.

  • Von Der Schulenburg Elected Captain; Team Awards Announced

    Ella von der Schulenburg, who sat in the No. 3 seat of the varsity eight that was the eighth fastest in the nation this spring, will serve as the captain of the 2019-20 Yale women?s crew.

  • Yale Takes 154th Regatta

    A perfect season came to an end in a classic fashion. The Yale Heavyweight Crew Varsity Eight, the 2019 IRA National and EARC Sprints Champions, completed another unblemished campaign by beating Harvard in the 154th edition of the Yale-Harvard Regatta on the Thames River.

  • America?s Oldest Intercollegiate Athletics Contest is Saturday

    America?s oldest intercollegiate athletic event, the rowing race between Yale and Harvard, takes place for the 154th time this Saturday on the Thames River. The three races of the Yale-Harvard Regatta, a truly unrivaled experience, begin at 12:45 and can be seen on ESPN+.
