If you follow development in emerging markets, or even World Cup Soccer, you are aware of the amazing development of South Africa since apartheid ended in 1994. There is still tremendous inequity though; And it threatens to stall progress. A new non-profit, Amandla, works for a South Africa in which everyone can access empowering education opportunities leading to equitable development. We do this by supporting successful grassroots organizations, connecting them with donors of all giving abilities and partnering with them to build their capacity and maximize impact. Amandla is currently seeking five individuals inspired by its mission who want to become members of its founding board. The board will spearhead organizational development and initial fundraising.
