Yale GALA and YAAMNY are pleased to announce an exciting new community service opportunity for LGBT alumni and friends. Partnering with New Alternatives, a nonprofit organization that provides support services to New York City's LGBT homeless youth out of the Middle Collegiate Church in the East Village, LGBT Yale alumni/ae and allies will be staffing drop-in hours on Tuesday nights to help youth in subject tutoring, writing help, GED preparation, SAT tutoring, resume building, and college applications. Join alumni to run a race overseas! The Yale Eli Runners Association (ERA), started by YAAMNY, is considering going to New Zealand for this summer's alumni trip.  For race options, which include a marathon, half- marathon, 10K, and 5K, see 5 BRIDGES MARATHON AND FUN RUN.  In addition to doing the race on 8/21, we plan to hike on picturesque and pristine mountains, meet with local Yalies, and explore all that the beautiful country of New Zealand has to offer (8/12-8/22).
