YAAMNY is delighted to welcome Yale alumni, friends, and family to Passport to Asia, an event to benefit the American Cancer Society Eastern Division Asian Initiatives. Taking place Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 82 Mercer Street in Soho, the event will be a celebration of life showcasing a sampling of diverse Asian cuisines, cooking demonstrations by the French Culinary Institute and the exciting musical talent of:
The Hsu-nami, an electric, progressive erhu rock band that has performed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing  
PaperDoll, a dance rock band with an infectious high-energy sound that has performed at the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai
Cate Song, a New York City-based singer/songwriter whose piano-based pop music is best described as introspective and lyrical with a touch of soul.

Veteran and newly established eateries will satisfy all of your Asian food cravings! There will be something for everyone. Challenge your taste buds, satisfy your sweet tooth, try healthy zen options, and win raffle prizes!
