The International Festival of Arts & Ideas is seeking an undergraduate student to serve as an intern with the Arts & Ideas Fellowship Program. The program will give economically disadvantaged teens exposure to careers in the arts and various arts disciplines and will teach critical thinking and writing skills. The undergraduate intern will support in the administration of the program as well as serve as a mentor to students as they progress through the program.
This is a paid opportunity with a part-time commitment during May 2010 and a full-time commitment during June 2010. The selected intern will also be invited to participate in orientation and group activities for the Dwight Hall at Yale Summer Fellowship program.

The Global Health Leadership Institute is currently recruiting one intern to contribute to the evaluation of the Clinton Foundations Ethiopian Millennium Rural Initiative (EMRI). The primary focus of the internship will be both quantitative and qualitative research as part of this mixed-methods evaluation of the EMRI program. The intern will be based in Addis Ababa at the Clinton Foundation office but will travel to health center sites located in rural areas of the three major regions of Ethiopia: Amhara region, Oromia region and Tigray region. The quantitative component will consist of site visits to EMRI health centers to corroborate health center data. The qualitative component will consist of the development of qualitative research protocols and observational site visits to EMRI health centers.

Please note: Applicants must be an enrolled student at one of the Yale graduate school programs or Yale College, and fluency in Amharic is preferred.

The Occupational Health Internship Program is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to learn about the field of occupational health and safety from the perspective of the worker. Students work in teams to investigate a job-related problem identified by a group of workers. Project work emphasizes worker interviews and worksite tours combined with research. Students can apply for placement in any of the following cities, regardless of where they now reside: New York City, Berkeley/Oakland, Los Angeles, and San Diego. The deadline to apply is April 1. The program is open both to undergraduates (3rd and 4th year) and graduate students. A stipend is provided for the 8-week experience ($500/week for undergraduates, $650/week for graduates).
