I'm excited to invite all Yalies to the launch event for The Cinematics, the new division of The Film Society of Lincoln Center geared towards members ages 21-39.  The event is this Friday, October 2nd, at 9pm with a screening and after party to Lars Von Trier's ANTICHRIST (one of the most talked about and controversial films at Cannes).  The special guest will be the film's star, the renowned actor Willem Dafoe.

As you may know, the Film Society of Lincoln Center (http://www.filmlinc.com/) is an incredible organization for both film and New York, not only hosting countless special screenings and events, but more importantly, for the past 47 years, The New York Film Festival (arguably among the top ten festivals of the year).  This year's festival is taking place now.

Judging from the Film Society's premiere party on Monday for the new Michael Moore movie, the party will be fantastic, and a great introduction to the group, The Film Society, and 150 other members our age.

Please kindly be advised that as tickets will be issued, you must RSVP to:
