Proceeds benefit Neighbor-To-Neighbor LifeLine, a collaboration of United Way and The Jewish Federation to meet the immediate emergency needs in Greater New Haven to help the growing number of families and individuals who find themselves facing food and housing insecurity in this economic downturn.

Since you are with Dwight Hall, I thought it would also be fitting to share with you our 10 Over 10 Volunteer Campaign information with you as well. Anyone who participates in 10 Over 10 can receive free tickets to the acapella concert as our way of saying thank you. For the last 10 weeks, United Way has been tracking volunteer activities all over Greater New Haven, to see if we could reach a combined total of 1,000 volunteers and 10,000 hours of change over a 10 week period.  We have been reaching out to schools, student groups, churches and businesses to mobilize, recognize and celebrate all of the wonderful work that volunteers like you do in our community to create change. As we wrap up the final projects and count hours, we see that our community goal is right within reach!
