Marina Picciotto, Professor of Psychiatry, Pharmacology and Neurobiology, is the Associate Director for Translational Research at the Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in the areas of molecular neuroscience, behavioral pharmacy, mouse genetics, and translational neuroscience. Professor Picciotto researches the role of signal molecules in complex behaviors related to addiction, depression, and learning. A senior editor for the Journal of Neuroscience, Professor Picciotto has been on the editorial boards of several peer-review journals and has been awarded with numerous honors, including a Presidential Early Career Award for Science and Engineering.
