The way Yale University invests its $17 billion endowment matters. If Yale and its students and faculty value human rights, environmental consciousness and social justice, why should its endowment support companies with proven records of workplace discrimination, human rights abuse and environmental degradation?
Show your support for the Responsible Endowment Project. This Thursday the endowment oversight committee is holding its once-a-year public meeting. Help us show them that the Yale community cares where our money goes. Come to the meeting and bring a friend. Thursday at 4:30 in Law School 127. RSVP to the Facebook event!
Two other things you can do:
1) sign the petition, whether you can make it or not!
2) Offer to add your voice by speaking for ~30 seconds at the meeting about why responsible investing is important to you. Contact
