Featuring a Showcase of New Haven Restaurants

The Yale Club of New York City, the Association of Yale Alumni (AYA), the Yale Alumni Association of Metropolitan New York (YAAMNY), and Market New Haven bring an international extravaganza to the Yale Club for a special event open to all Yale alumni. Enjoy a small sampling of award winning cuisine from 116 Crown (Wine & Small Plates Lounge);  Barcelona (Spanish Wine Bar); bespoke (Modern American Cuisine); Thali (Regional Cuisine of India); Union League Café (Parisian Style Brasserie) and Zinc (Modern American), as well as several passed hors d’oeuvres from the Club’s own Executive Chef, Charles Kehrli.

Complementing New Haven's world class cuisine and Yale's ambition to be a world leading university, the AYA has made it a mission to be a world leading alumni association. New initiatives launched as part of the AYA's strategic plan have placed Yale's alumni relations programs on a world stage in a leading role. AYA Executive Director, Mark Dollhopf '77, will join alumni from the New York area in the Tap Room to share some of the new global initiatives of the AYA that have sparked the interest of alumni around the world and have recently given alumni the opportunity to travel to Australia, Japan, Iceland, and Mexico. You can also learn the specific ways to get involved. The evening will begin and end with the showcase of New Haven restaurants and a chance to taste something from each. There will be a cash bar.
