 Mia Rubin, a Yale law student and immigration legal intern at IRIS (Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services) will speak on her experiences working with immigrants in New Haven and how her faith guides the work that she does. Questions addressed by the talk include "How is service motivated by faith different from service in general?" and "What does the Bible have to say about serving others?" There will be a short talk and then an open discussion on the topic. Come to learn more about IRIS' work resettling immigrants and refugees and about the role of faith in community service.
