Then The Yale Hunger and Homelessness Action Project Sign Up
...Choose YES and submit!

What's a YHHAP Fast?
ONE DAY per semester when students can choose to give up their meal swipes for a day and the proceeds are donated to combat hunger and homelessness in New Haven!

When IS the Fast?
OCTOBER 21ST! And it's all day--you won't have any meal swipes to use, so remember the date!

Where's the money going?
To nonprofits working with hunger and homelessness issues in New Haven! This semester, the majority of the money is going to the Life Haven women and children's shelter

How will I eat?
Most (if not all) colleges are hosting study breaks for the night of the Fast (just after dinner), and local businesses are helping to sponsor the Fast as well. We'll also have a service event during the day where you can make two sandwiches--one for yourself and one for people to give out on the New Haven green or to local soup kitchens for the night!
