Why: Only on one night a year do households expect their dinners to be interrupted in order to distribute free and edible items to all who ask. Hosted by Yale Hunger Heroes and YHHAP, Trick Or Eat puts a new spin on Halloween dressed in our Halloween costumes, we will be canvassing New Haven neighborhoods collecting cans of food for the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen.  At the same time, we will be raising awareness about local hunger issues and volunteer opportunities. Two hours and a costume is all you need to make a huge difference in the community!
