Nelun Wijeyeraten, a graduate of the Yale School of Management, asked us to pass along this invitation:

Please join the FWA for a discussion on the significance of microfinance in the United States. We will hear from a panel of key market players about how the tightening of credit has fueled demand for affordable microenterprise loans. Learn how these loans have enabled micro entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and create jobs in their communities. Hear from a microloan recipient as she describes how the lending process works and how the loan has enabled her business to grow. Learn how you can get involved and support the growth of domestic microfinance.
