On Thursday, February 24, the College Council for Care will screen the film "Reporter"--a feature documentary about Nicholas Kristof, a two time Pulitzer Prize winning columnist for the New York Times. The film tracks Kristof during a trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo and explores his methods as well as the horrifying issues that arise in the DRC conflict. Kristof searches for individual stories in order to inspire his readers to care, and the movie follows his methods of reporting as he explores some of the poorest and most war-ravaged areas in the world. The event will take place at 7 pm in LC 101. Note: Nicholas Kristof will be speaking at Yale on April 5 at 4:30 pm in the Sterling Law Building Auditorium.
