On December 14, 2006, New York Philomusica continues its season with a concert of beautiful and quintessential chamber works. Including Joseph Haydn’s Quartet in C Minor, Op. 17, No. 4, HobIII:28; Bernard Garfield’s Quartet (1950) for bassoon and string trio; and Schubert’s Octet in F, Op. 16 (D. 803), the concert features bassoonist John Miller, principle bassoon of the Minnesota Orchestra. The concert will take place at 8 pm, with a pre-concert lecture at 7:30. Location: Broadway Presbyterian Church, 114th Street and Broadway, New York, NY. Students now only $10 (regular tickets $35).
