Tickets are $50 online at www.alexcap.org, "Donate Now" tab, Special Events at bottom of page. $60 at the door (cash or check only)
All are welcome, and we hope to see you there!
About the Foundation:
The Alexander Capelluto Foundation (ACF) awards grants to high school and college students. Currently we are in two schools (Horace Mann Upper Division and Yale University), but as we raise more money, we will be expanding to additional universities.
At Yale, it can be very difficult for students on scholarship to afford even the basics, such as a personal computers, textbooks, laboratory fees, musical instruments, cameras, art supplies. We'll provide funds to students who need help paying for costs that are associated with classes but are not covered in their financial aid packages. The next incoming class will be the first beneficiaries, and as we raise more money, we plan to expand to other Universities.
At Horace Mann, we'll be giving a $2,500 grant to a high school Junior for a community service project to be implemented in the summer before senior year.
