The Annual Day-After Thanksgiving Gathering!
The Yale Latino Alumni Association of the Tri-State Area
During the last three decades, the Hon. Eduardo Padro ('75) has held a gathering of local Yale Puerto Rican and Latino alumni in his home the day after Thanksgiving. Many Latino undergraduates have their first contact with alumni at this gathering, and it has served as the basis for building life long professional relationships as well as friendships.
The Yale Latino Alumni Association of the Tri-State Area is proud to continue this great tradition! This year, Rick Chavolla & Anna Chavolla have graciously offered to host the event in their home. (Rick Chavolla served as the Dean of the Chicano Cultural Center and then as Dean of the Latino Cultural Center from 1996-2001.) Join us for a family style social gathering with snacks, alumni, current students, friends, and family - all are welcome! The celebration will spill over into one of the area restaurant/bars after 9pm.
Directions: Take the 1 train to Chirstopher St. and walk West on Barrow St.
Please forward this invitation to any Yale Latinos who will be in the tri-state area for the Thanksgiving holiday.
