The YAANY Arts Committee provides a forum where alumni can learn from leading practitioners in the world capital of fine and performing arts and support those in the entertainment industry. Zz Packer photoArtists on the Brink, the Yale Alumni Association of New York, and the Yale Black Alumni Association are pleased to present an evening with author ZZ Packer '94.  The New Yorker featured ZZ Packer as one of it's "20 under 40" luminary fiction writers in June 2010.   Her short story collection, Drinking Coffee Elsewhere, was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award and lauded by Harper's, The New Yorker, and NY Times.  On May 10, she will be reading a selection of her work, and will discuss her personal creative writing process and life as a professional writer.  Click to register here now.

Thousands of Yale Alumni, family members and friends will gather to volunteer for meaningful events and projects ranging from the labor intensive (sprucing up parks, planting gardens & painting) to the more intellectually stimulating (assisting with job applications and tutoring) throughout the New York City Area and around the globe.

Contribute to crafting first-rate, thoughtful, and intellectually stimulating educational enrichment programs for alumni and the general public. A Spring Gala for Yale Alumni Creatives & Entrepreneurs

This second annual event will bring together Yale alumni in NYC for an evening of mingling, eating, and drinking at General Assembly, the gorgeous new urban campus for technology, design, and entrepreneurship in Manhattan.
