Program: Mozart - Piano Trio in G Major, K496 Shostakovich - Quartet No. 8 Dvorak - Piano Quartet in E flat Major Musicians from Marlboro concludes its current season at the Metropolitan Museum with a wonderful mix of pieces – beautiful Mozart, dark and dramatic Shostakovich and the delightful folk melodies of Dvorak. The combination of artists is equally inspired with Guarneri Quartet master violinist Arnold Steinhardt performing with four exceptional young musicians at the beginning of what promise to be notable careers. A music and performing match not to be missed! We also look forward to having you join the artists afterwards for a wine & cheese reception after the concert, to be held at the Goethe Institute at 1014 Fifth Ave (across from the Met).
