Traci L. Slatton (Davenport 84) announces the release of her historical novel IMMORTAL, published by BantamDell. IMMORTAL is a rags-to-riches-to-burnt-at-the-stake story set in Renaissance Florence, and is also coming out in Spain, Brazil, Russia, Greece, Poland and Serbia. With husband sculptor Sabin Howard, she is holding a joint book launch/sculpture show at the Salmagundi club, 47 Fifth Avenue at 12th street, at 7:30 pm on January 29. She is also having a reading at the Borders Book store at the TimeWarner Center at Columbus Circle on February 7 at 7:00 pm. Everyone is invited!
