David Grillo, actor and former Artistic Director for Theatre for Yale Drama Alumni housed at the Yale Club is making his Off-Broadway debut as Lead Producer for BEAST ON THE MOON by Richard Kalinoski. In its twelve years of life, Beast on the Moon has been performed in 17 different nations, translated into 12 different languages, and has won in excess of 40 awards. Ten of those awards are Tony-equivalents, in Paris and Buenos Aires, including the award for Best Play in both capital cities. Beast on the Moon's director is a man named Larry Moss who, in addition to being an award-winning director (The Syringa Tree), is also the number one acting coach in America. Larry is the private on and off-set coach to Hilary Swank (Boy's Don't Cry, Million Dollar Baby), Leonardo DiCaprio (Aviator), Helen Hunt (As Good As It Gets), Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile), Tobey Maguire (Seabiscuit) and many more. His new acting book "Intent to Live" is already in its second edition. Starring Tony Nominees Omar Metwally and Louis Zorich, Matt Borish and introducing Lena Georgas.
