We will focus in on the tool of telling and sharing stories as a way to build relationships, grow organizations, and gain power to win campaigns. The workshop is open to all - student leaders interested in strengthening their work on campus and those considering social change work beyond their college years are welcome and encouraged to attend. Following the workshop, students are invited to stay for a brief info session on the Jewish Organizing Initiative fellowship, a year long training program in community organizing based in Boston, MA. The training and info session will be led by Lauren Jacobson '08, current fellow at the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization; Rachel Bedick, current fellow at the Community Action Agency of Somerville; and Anne Fox, JOI alumna and organizer at UNITE-HERE Local 26.
