[Dwight Hall / Yale College Council Week of Service] The Public Health Coalition and the Yale Dems will be showing a brand-new Frontline documentary called Sick Around America, which addresses healthcare concerns around the country and shows us that healthcare disparities have increasingly become a divider between rich and poor, and one of the biggest civil rights issues of our time. The groups will also be screening the wonderful movie John Q, starring Denzel Washington, about a father desperate to get a heart transplant for his young son even when all the insurance outlets turn him down. This event will be informative and fun, so come on out and enjoy your Thursday night. Food will be provided. Additional Info/Contact: |
