On October 5 at 5:30, a Hiroshima Survivor, Setsuko Thurlow, will be speaking at Yale (see her bio below), at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. As the bombing took place 64 years ago, soon it will not be possible to hear testimonials live and in person. Her talk is part of an exhibition "From a Culture of Violence to a Culture of Peace: Transforming the Human Spirit." This exhibit highlights how an inner change in individuals can help in the global movement for nuclear disarmament. The exhibit was presented at the United Nations in Geneva and at university campuses around the world.
