The College Council for CARE presents A Powerful Noise, a documentary on women's empowerment in the developing world. The documentary follows three women:

Hanh, who started a self-help group for women living with HIV/AIDS in Vietnam

Nada, a refugee who works to alleviate ethnic tension through an agricultural co-op

and Jaqueline, who fights forced labor practices in the slums of Mali through basic education.

World Fellow Zafar Sobhan, an influential journalist who works with several training and development organizations, will be giving an introduction and free Thai food will be served!
