Apply to be an Urban Fellow!
Urban Fellows is a social justice organization which focuses on the development of students’ understanding of New Haven. Students intern in a range of placements from government to the non-profit sector and attend meetings every week which frequently feature guest speakers from various New Haven agencies. By working directly for an agency in New Haven and regularly attending meetings, fellows gain a broader understanding of urban issues, not necessarily those on which they focus. Urban Fellows tend to be the most informed on urbanism, the most interested in city issues and also the most active in New Haven. Together these students create an environment which intensely examines problems and actively seeks solutions.
