The course emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to the comprehension of and response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The course is designed to go beyond the mere provision of information by encouraging students to develop the ability to critically assess and analyze research, programmatic, policy, and ethical challenges raised by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. This course does not have any prerequisites and is open to Yale College Students.
