Undergraduate Women in Science at Yale is sponsoring a 4-part dinner series, with each session featuring a prominent female professor in the sciences or social sciences. Come chat with Bill Summers, professor of the popular "Porn in the Morn" class! Professor of Therapeutic Radiology, Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, and History of Medicine, Summers' interests range from molecular biology to Chinese culture and history. His research looks at how public understanding and efficient practice of science benefits from the study of it's history. Professor Summers has held fellowships and visiting faculty positions at major research universities in the United States, Sweden, Great Britain, and China and he currently serves on numerous panels and editorial board Additional Info/Contact: |
