§   Eight-week service project starting June 1 through July 23 (some sites will vary)

§   Housing (optional) and a $2800 stipend provided by Yale alumni

§   Locations throughout the United States; including New York City, Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Washington D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Rhode Island, Texas, and Boston

§   Opportunities in law, medicine, environmental issues, social activism, policy, education, performing arts, psychology, art history, science, historic and environmental preservation, and community outreach

Application Process:

§   Students can apply to a total of three fellowships

§   Fellowships are now live in eRecruiting. Students can click on Yale Alumni Community Service Fellowships in the center of the eRecruiting homepage to view a list of currently posted positions. Positions will continue to be posted up until the deadline. Deadline: February 5, 2010.

§   Students will need to submit a resume and 500 word essay answering the following prompt:

Please describe your interest in the project you have selected, how your past experiences and coursework have prepared you for the project, and how you foresee your community service fellowship impacting your future goals
