Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you interested in teaching? Are  you looking for classroom experience and a rewarding, enriching way to  spend your summer? Apply to teach with the U.S. Grant Foundation! U.S.  Grant is an academic enrichment program for middle school students  from New Haven public schools. Yale undergraduates who are accepted as  teachers design and teach a six-week course for middle school  students, as well as collaborate with other teachers to create  elective courses. Teachers are paid $3,300 over the course of the  summer, including a week of paid teacher training. The program runs  from July 21 to August 5. There will be an information session,  featuring a short presentation and a talk with former US Grant  teachers, on Tuesday, January 26 at 7 pm in the Dwight Hall Library.  Applications can be found at www.yale.edu/usgrant and are due on  January 31, 2010.
