Do you enjoy working with kids? Are you interested in teaching? Are you looking for classroom experience and a rewarding, enriching way to spend your summer? Apply to teach with the U.S. Grant Foundation! U.S. Grant is an academic enrichment program for middle school students from New Haven public schools. Yale undergraduates who are accepted as teachers design and teach a six-week course for middle school students, as well as collaborate with other teachers to create elective courses. Teachers are paid $3,300 over the course of the summer, including a week of paid teacher training. The program runs from July 21 to August 5. There will be an information session, featuring a short presentation and a talk with former US Grant teachers, on Tuesday, January 26 at 7 pm in the Dwight Hall Library.
