YaleNet - Smart Matters - Soles4Souls Project Haiti

In the aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti, many people were left with nothing. Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization that collects shoes for those in need, is holding a special shoe drive from January 20 to February 13, specifically for Haiti. Begun in the aftermath of the 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia, Soles4Souls has since given away over 5.5 million pairs of shoes.

Girls Run is organizing a shoe drive drive on campus to raise awareness and help the relief effort in Haiti. All the shoes we collect will be donated to Soles4Souls. In order to make this a success, we need volunteers to post flyers and put boxes up around campus.
