Dr. Lillian Guerra is the author of two books, Popular Expression and National Identity in Puerto Rico (University of Florida Press, 1998) and The Myth of José Martí (University of North Carolina Press, 2005). She has also published many scholarly articles, creative essays and two collections of Spanish-language poetry. Guerra's new book, Visions of Power: Revolution and Redemption in Cuba, 1952-1972, will be published in 2010. She teaches Caribbean and modern Latin American history at Yale University. In 2009, the faculty of Yale College awarded Professor Guerra the Sidonie Miskimin Clauss Prize for Teaching Excellence in the Humanities. Additional Info/Contact: |
