Denise Walsh, former Deputy Director with the Clinton Foundation in Liberia and new member of the Global Health Leadership Institute at Yale University, is an expert in health management and leadership, with a focus on hospital operations.  She traveled to Haiti immediately after the disaster to support pharmacy operations at the General Hospital in Port au Prince, ensuring that hospital staff and patients had access to crucial medications and medical supplies as victims of the earthquake surged into the citys only functioning hospital.
