(1) SAVE THE DATE: NYC Latino Road Show
Thursday, April 29 6:00 8:30PM @ 7 Times Square
April marks the one-year anniversary of the first-ever, Yale Latino Alumni Reunion. While this event was well attended by hundreds of Latino alums, several hundreds more were unable to attend. Significant accomplishments were arrived at that first weekend in April, and many more achievements have been attained since. And so, a great deal of excitement and effective changes have been brought to bear, both at Yale and across the country.
In an effort to close the gap between those that were in attendance at the reunion and those unable to participate, the National Board of Directors of the recently created Yale Latino Alumni Association (YLAA) has been hosting a series of Latino Road Shows throughout the country. Accordingly, YLAA, in collaboration with its regional chapter affiliate the Yale Latino Alumni Association of the Tri-State Area (TSA), will be hosting the NYC Latino Road Show: A Grand Party with a Purpose.
We want you all to join us to relive and/or experience for the first time the power and the beauty of that weekend, as well as to have a good time, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, learn of the many important achievements of the past year, and most importantly- to help determine the future priorities and goals of this powerfully evolving organization, and to consider why and how to get involved.
Over the next few weeks you will be receiving a formal, electronic invitation with greater detail, as well as opportunities for advanced registration and reminder notices. We look forward to seeing there.
