Join MEChA de Yale as we give back to the community
with a Day of Service at the end of our annual Semana Chicana: "Sana Sana,
Colita de Rana: Addressing Illness and Wellness in the Latino Community." From
10-2, volunteers will disembark in groups of 4-5 to enriching experiences at
The Fellowship Place, the CREST Center, a sports tournament at John H.
Martinez Middle School, and AIDS Project New Haven. Co-sponsored by SALT of
the Earth, Jews for Justice, and Fierce Advocates, this is also a great way
to take some time out and get to know like-minded people across a range of
communities.
