Attention Artists: Need money for your art? Fractured Atlas and the Yale Alumni Association of Metropolitan New York are co-hosting Fundraising in a Box: Crowdsourcing Microgrants, a panel discussion that will answer all the questions you have about fundraising and any others you have about the business of art. Artists and professionals will share their experience, advice, and ideas on the challenges that independent artists and small arts organizations face in securing vital funding and support for their work. The goal of the discussion is to identify the trends and tools that artists can use to find funding and space for their projects. Stay after the discussion to network with fellow arts practitioners and supporters. Complimentary appetizers and drinks will be served. Moderator: Esther Robinson (Art Home founder) Panelists: Jason Franklin (Bolder Giving, executive director), Jed Cohen (Rockethub, founder), Christopher Darling (Carrier Pigeon, founder), and Dianne Debicella (Fractured Atlas, fiscal sponsorship program director) Space is limited, register now at http://yaamny-artbusiness.eventbrite.com/. $10 for early registration, $12 after.
