BRED (Bringing Relief Every Day) collects excess bread and baked desserts from residential college dining halls every evening and walks them over to two halfway houses on Howe St. that help men reintegrate into the community. BREDs volunteers reduce food waste at Yale while serving New Havens needy with only a small time commitmentless than an hour a week.

Shifts run from 7pm-7:45pm, and involve taking the leftover bread and desserts from the dining hall, meeting up with other students on York St, and then walking a couple blocks to a halfway house where we deliver the food. Sign up for a shift, but then don't forget to email
